American Standard Valve Installation Method and Precautions

The installation of the copper American standard valve must be carried out in strict accordance with the established steps. The correct installation method is beneficial to the improvement of the service life and performance of the American standard valve. Attention must be paid to the relevant details in the installation of the American standard valve and avoid unnecessary. The operational errors are as follows:

A. In the process of installation and commissioning, American Standard Valve found that when the stem leaks, tighten the packing nut at the packing, and pay attention to the force can not be too large to limit the leakage;

B. The flange of the connecting valve and the flange of the pipe end are not only consistent with the specifications, but also have the same nominal pressure;

C, pipe thread connection valve, when the installation is tightened, the hexagonal or octagonal position of the thread must be wrenched, and the other end of the wrench should not be hexagonal or octagonal, so as to avoid deformation of the valve;

D. The internally threaded gate valve is connected to the pipe end. The length of the pipe end external thread must be controlled. In order to avoid over-spinning the end of the pipe so that the top end of the valve surface of the pipe valve thread, resulting in deformation of the valve seat and affect the seal;

E. The valve connected to the pipe thread is connected with the pipe thread of the pipe end, wherein the inner thread may be a cylindrical pipe thread or a conical pipe thread, and the outer thread must be a conical pipe thread.
